A terminal block is also included, so you can also choose to connect the mirror to a power source. This allows you to choose whether to use the mirror via a wall socket or connect it directly to a light switch.

The operation works as follows when connecting to a light switch:

• When you turn off the light switch, the mirror lighting turns off completely.
• When you turn the light switch back on, the mirror lights don't come on automatically. You can then activate the lights using the touch button on the mirror.

The light switch functions as the main switch for the power supply, while the touch button is used to switch on and off and control the lights.

Built-in clock with internal battery
The digital clock has an internal lithium battery that keeps the time accurate, even when the mirror is turned off with the light switch. The clock does not need to be reset.
