Wiesbaden Comfort walk-in shower 100x200 cm - 10mm NANO completely frosted glass

This fully frosted glass walk-in shower from Wiesbaden Sanitair is made of 10mm thick tempered safety glass and finished with a NANO coating. The wall profile and its adjustability make the walk-in shower easy to install, even if the floor and wall aren't perfectly perpendicular. The included stabilizing rod ensures your walk-in shower is very stable after installation. Because this wall is fully sandblasted /frosted, it ensures complete privacy while showering. We also supply matching fully frosted glass side walls.

When installing, ensure that the sandblasted/matted side of the wall is on the outside of the shower area.

Nano coating:

Promotes safety: dangerous mold and bacteria no longer adhere to the surface
Reduces cleaning costs: dirt and grease simply slide off the glass. This makes cleaning safe and cost-effective.

These benefits are achieved through nanotechnology, or minuscule nanoparticles. These particles are a billionth of a meter in size. For comparison, one nanometer is to one meter, as a small football is to the Earth.

This means that, unlike traditional coatings, it doesn't form a layer around the object, but literally penetrates the surface and becomes one with the structure. This prevents dirt, grease, and mold from adhering to the (pre-treatment) porous surface.

Tempered safety glass:

Tempered glass has undergone a special thermal treatment that makes it harder than regular glass. It is five times stronger than regular glass. Tempered glass shatters into thousands of pieces when broken, while regular glass shatters into large, sharp, and dangerous shards. The advantage of this is that people are less likely to suffer injury , and surrounding products are less likely to be damaged if the glass breaks.
